It's spring! = )

Now...Katie is going to think this post is especially for her, since she recently left me a sweet little comment basically telling me to get with it. = ) I suppose I'll let her think what she would like. = )

So...life in Vancouver! Where to start?? Deborah and Jonny had their baby, so she is now on maternity leave and I am teaching 1st grade! I've been in the classroom for 4 weeks now, and I swear there is a time warp in 1st grade...days pass by so quickly it is hard to keep up with them! I'm absolutely loving the job, though...they are a great group of kids, and we are enjoying each other immensely! But I am knackered when I come home....have to build up some stamina apparently! (And see...I've kept a bit o' Ireland!)

I just finished spring break...I might as well have gone somewhere tropical, because let me tell you, it was an expensive week! I signed up for the gym and also for VIOLIN LESSONS! (Can you tell which part I'm more excited about?) I've been saying for a couple of months now that I want to learn how to play the violin...my friend Natalie was down here a couple of weekends ago, and had a violin that she gave me! She just happened to have it in the truck of her car after clearing out closets...random! Anyway...I'm so excited about starting lessons. My roomates are not as thrilled about this as I am, but they will feel differently after I become a world famous violinist! = )

Baby Finn Xavier Belding - we welcomed Jeff and Nikki's second little boy into the world on March 24th! He's only a few hours old in this picture!

The inside out of super cute townhouse - two bedrooms upstairs, one bedroom downstairs, two and a half bathrooms, double car garage...we like it!!

This picture was actually taken back in January...on New Year's Day! It is such a cute shot of all of us girls, so I had to include it!

A more recent "girls" picture...in March we spent a weekend at the beach, celebrating Shauna's upcoming marriage. On our way home on Sunday, we had to stop at Starbucks. Of course. The trip wouldn't be complete without that!
